Warren,I still say The Weather Channel which would be easy listening in my mind. I like the tune - just for it's simple melody and it's mix of sounds. The slide is nice and the brushes. Great production! Too bad Winham Hill is not around anymore.I like the vocal version too but it's going to require some work to get it there. Maybe adult contemporary. A taxi critique could be helpful on that one. I just did like the pheonix line but initial feel was - it could be woven a little better. That's the thing - when you add the lyrics you are adding about 75% more complexity in the production of the lyric, it's lifts and falls, harmonic balance and the list goes on and on... I'm preaching to the choir... Anyway this tune is a keeper as an instrumental and has real potential with lyrics IMO just not there yet.Kitz

hello kitz--yep, re: the instrumental i'll shop it around and "channel" it to whoever will take it...you just might be right on the vocal, and i sung it solo, then had it duet-ed, and i'm still not happy with the vocals, though i am with the lyrics--BUT--i will have this resung sometimes in the future, and whenever i do that, i always revisit the lyrics, and with more time passing, something will bound to change. good comments, thank you!all the best, stay warm if you're in the catskill's, heck it's been in the high 20's to mid 30's on the left coast,,,,cold for US whimps....take carewarren
