Nice track!I do think that the chorus melody needs some switching up -- I'd love to hear it bigger instead of higher.... Rhythmically it's similar to the verses, and I think having a breakout chorus would make this good song stand out more. Also, I think if you really want to get to the heart of the subject... yes, the media controls what they feed us (great analogy), but that doesn't mean our hunger ever ceases... I think a great visual image would be of us (the consumers) eating and eating like zombies in some cafe while waitresses (the media) keep dropping off plate after plate of bland, tasteless food. While i think your initial analogy is spot on, your lyrics aren't necessarily cohesive from verse to verse with one visual image. If you honed in on one image (or one setting), you could have some powerful emotional content. As it stands right now, the lyrics -- which are more helpless and empty -- don't always match the music -- which is more frustrated and angry sounding to me.That withstanding, I think the production is very well done here. I agree that the vocals probably need to come up some in the mix, I didn't really have any problems with it either.I hope that helps some, and maybe gives you another perspective.Cheers!

Thanks Zoom, I appreciate your comments, they are very helpful I guess my plan is to experiment with ways to make the chorus seem vocally stronger, and I am changing some of my lyric lines (like the "drugs and pesticides one") to help refine the specific visual image I'm trying to create. -Jeff
