Those are important tests my friend.Im going to do a cut down version for pitching. Ill use the "epic" version on a christmas album sometime I guess. I figured out how to cut it to just over 4 mins and still have a good feel. Just have to figure out how to cut it in my editor software. M~

Hein,Ill let you tell GOD about the rewrite. Im already in enough hot water with the big guy. Went out is pretty prevalent in the bible. In Genesis, the story of the isrealites leaving egypt. Is one example.I only told about 1 of the 3 kings. Had I included the other 2 dudes the song would be 7 minutes. Trust me, I could have but I figured Id better end it somewhere.

I found myself writing a song last night......then after about 2 hours and 9 beers, I realized I was playing an Xmas song by Matt Hoggard. That Bastard! Good tune dude seriously and thanks for allowing us to air it on the AVRadio Xmas show!

hi matt--yeah, i remember the went out allot--was kinda joking there, went to baptist sunday school for like 8 years...no reason other than my mom was a single one after dad dropped, and thought we needed "structure"....boy scouts (loved it), parks and rec stuff after school, a "baby sitter" until we were 13 or so...and yep, though not baptist, ...church almost every sunday (hated it, we were the poor kids, and that dime in the coffer, i can still see the pity in their eyes--iBUT t was a very valuable experience for me in most ways...still dig the song my friend, and yep, "when" i'm judged, i just hope i get a few words in, IMHO he has some splainin' to do....all the best, peace, warren

Hey MattGood writing! I really enjoyed this. First time I've heard your voice too - very cool If you're collecting 2c crits, two things struck me: MORE bass, lose the strings pad.Nice one, man.Liam

Don't thank me for writing something that turned out to be something already written by somebody known as Matt who already wrote an Xmas tune that I thought I was writing yet realized I wasn't, but only playing a song already written by somebody. What?
