My Six Pack

Post by rivercitymusic » Wed Dec 03, 2008 5:49 pm

Ok, i'm gonna belay the description of my inability. I'm not going to ask about bridges (or for that matter roads, trails or highways). This is killing me!Here is an old dog licking, porch drinking, biker song i wrote and was gonna revive it. However, after hearing what you folks do, i'm just gonna put it out there for enjoyment sake.Any feedback is appreciated and really helpful. It's just that all that i do seems to fail in the same areas.I know bitch bitch bitch. I'm outta wine.My Six Packhttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=1833 ... =trueEnjoy, that's all it's for. I'm going to the liquor store.Doc

I hear that that monkey man's kind or an ass myself. But you know Doc, your style reminds me of some of my favorite Texas songwriters, Billy Joe Shaver, Guy Clarke, Willis Alan Ramsey, etc. I really enjoyed the lyrics here, and your voice has an honesty I like... again I'm reminded of Billy Joe Shaver. Well thanks to you all. I really mean it. You've kept my dog from being kicked one more day.I keep hearing what the majority of people put out here including you folks and it all sounds like radio quality music to me. So being nothing but a wanna be lyricist it's depressing to hear that top shelf stuff and then sit down and try to do one on my laptop. I'm gonna have one of those tears tatooed to the corner of my eye so when i run outta tears i can still feel bad.You guys ought to open up a writers guilt workshop and be forced to bring in phycs to help us out of our depression!lolThere ain't enough whiskey to soften the blow! You all are really fantastic musicians/artists. I enjoy your work, really. And thanksDoc
