Shadow Lamenta
An Experimental, Avante-garde trick. Not a hit. Just a zone.Thoughts? Good, bad, ugly?Another one from the "Phantom Music Box" project. The lovely Kim Christie on lead vocals.http://www.audio-village.com/kickapps/_ ... 29713.html

Re: Shadow Lamenta
I like the theme, the tone....maybe shortened a bit?Christie has great vocals, but your drowning them! She's also taking the ring out of her voice, if she's trained as a Soprano? (that would be a no-no)You would be better off to go with it....Let her soar, you are also placing CJ louder than her too! He has a great voice, lots of passion and feeling...maybe a soft pan where they go from ear to ear? They are a great compliment to each other.Use it.You're also putting her in a position where she should be a chesty high vocal (in the beginning), but it seems that isn't her range or how she was trained.Instead of conforming her to your music, she needs to be herself.Does that make sense? That's all I can think to say....back to finals

Re: Shadow Lamenta
Thanks for checking it out Misty. But, believe it or not, all vocal decisions were hers. I just sent her the bed track with drums and keys. She came up with the lyrics and even Cj's part I believe, if I remember correctly. Then we added guitars and bass, etc. But, like I said, her fate was in her own hands. Thanks again for the listen.

I like it. It has an interesting feel. I'd move the vox farther up front. Couldn't make out many of the words. DeanPS I see you got the name of your band in this song, too. lol
