Good fit for "Swamp Rock" listing

Happy Thanksgiving Day After! For the record, I ate too much...I was hoping to get a little feedback on whether the song below is a good fit for the listing here:=============================================ROCK CUES (SONGS AND INSTRUMENTALS) NEEDED for a couple of new reality shows slated to air on the world's largest music cable network. The Music Supervisor for these shows needs to hear a variety of "gritty rock" - styles can range from Rockabilly, Punk, Swamp Rock, Metal, Southern Rock, etc. The pace needs to be fast and the tone should be wacky, high energy, dirty and fun. You can think in the reference range of Black Flag, Hank Williams III, Suicidal Tendencies, Reverend Horton Heat, Social Distortion, Minutemen, etc. Songs with vocals and instrumentals will be considered - be sure the tempos are fast and the vibe is gritty and "down & dirty". There are no lyrical restrictions here, but the tone should match that of the music - instrumentals are okay too. You can also think along the lines of the music behind "Jackass", for more direction and inspiration. Recordings must be Broadcast Quality (great home demos should be okay). I agree. Its a cool track and holds its own as an instrumental, but I don't think it is close enough to fit the listing... ...maybe. I might cut it down by :30 though. I mean, its short already, but not enough variation to really justify being over 2 minutes. I could be wrong. Although I do like it and personally have no issues with it, I'm just thinking from a marketing standpoint.I like some of the runs! Especially the minor ones.The sound is good too. Nice clean work. I could hear all elements present and they were presented well.But, Swamp Rock.. ..I just don't think so. Maybe if you added some harmonica? Hell, I don't know. But cool little diddy none the less.

gonna have to ditto Matt & Stephen. This is a good track & i'm sure you'll find a listing for it but this lisitng states "The pace needs to be fast and the tone should be wacky, high energy, dirty and fun" which to me is describing more of the Southern Culture/Rev. Horton Heat kind of vibe.

Vince,I like the licks and the vibe and the southern sound. I would say Steven's idea of a harmonica might help it go more swampy. When I think of swamp I think of Tony Joe White "gator's got your granny". I think it's pretty close but maybe just a bit more twist on top of what you got. I love the echoes and the way you dance around them.Kitz

Yeah, my first thought after seeing "swamp" and hearing your tune was like "hellz yeah"! But then after seeing the bands listed I see they're meaning something entirely different then my idea of swamp music ha ha.
