Sounds like a great song, good demo. That's why you've been Forwarded. Keep submitting.When did those Forwards occur? I had a song forwarded in Dec 2006, was contacted in Dec 2007, and we just signed the deal for it this month, March 2008.

My first (and only contact so far) response to one of my thirty-plus forwards came eight months after the forward. I routinely see members posting that contact takes months if not a year or more after the forward, depending on the company and the project.

Hey, Bayou. I write country (have written one Christian song myself) and this song is absolutely fantastic. I love the chorus, the powerful buildup at the end....this song has what it takes. Since the music biz moves so slow, I've heard it's not uncommon to hear from the party you were foward to for as much as six months to a year. So keep the faith....I really believe "Rain Down" is a song that's going to go somewhere. And as Hummingbird said, keep submitting.

Unfortunately, as everyone states, nothin' moves very fast in the biz. I wouldn't worry though. It's time is comin'. Can feel it in my bones. You've got a winner here, no doubt!
