hell dave,...and what is wrong with this??? LOL...i love it. i do agree with the bass and drum and other production comments, but i betcha (sorry...the election still in my head...!) you can fix that no problem.very cool, older vibe, i can hear it in many venues man, tweak and you're there, i'll have to agree that it's more clapton than gilmore, but as pablo says, with more sustain, might help it some (sorry willie...hey, and why am i always behind your posts? story of me life...anyway, nice job dave!warren

"I was expecting someone to say the bass was now too loud!"Bass too loud? NEVER! (ok, hardly ever!).The bass & drums are much tighter now. This piece does have a "retro" vibe to me which is cool for the right listing & situation. As an alternative mix/submission idea you could also work this up to fit for an ala "Sleepwalk". Do you know that song?

Duhhh? It's just bending Paul.I've tried slide, but haven't managed to get the hang of it yet. Would love to though, especially that George Harrison sound!I tried slide with a few open tunings for another track I'm doing, but it just didn't sound good on the recording.Stephen AV gave a good suggestion for an Alvarez acoustic, but I've not managed to find a supplier in the UK.Will keep you informed!update: I just looked back on that thread Paul. Some good suggestions. That Taylor video was helpful too.Wish I could play that clean! Guess I'll just have to start visiting the music stores and trying some out.I put in a vote for Alveraz.... I've had one for 10 years.... decent for the money... ($300 or so... 10 years ago!!!)....Cool tune Dave!!!! Love your guitar sound..... you know what would be cool..... do it like one of those songs where everything drops out one at a time... end with the back beat.... could be cool.... I'm on listen 4.... really cool....Peace, Geo

I'm with yer Bill.Yeah, it could be another possibility.I'm not surprised it sounds retro after 30 years! Thanks for listening.Maybe I'll stop tweaking with it now, and see how it does with that listing.

Just tightened up the start, so the acoustics come incloser to the drum/bass. They were slightly early, and it was bugging me.I'm not touching it anymore (for now ) unless someonespots something elsehttp://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=186321&stream=true.
