HIGH ACTION/SPORTS INSTRUMENTALS...
My first attempt at a "sports" instrumental ..."Victory Lap ... Dance" http://www.capizon.com/music/VicLapDance1.mp3 I welcome your comments and suggestions! Here's a recap of the (rather specific) criteria:HIGH ACTION/SPORTS INSTRUMENTALS...in a variety of styles...must sound current and contemporary...blended with current-sounding instruments with "edge". These tracks need to be compelling dynamically, without a lot of motive/melodic repetition. Variation and momentum/build will be key for this one!

I think this would be a little too tame... a little to nice for the listing. As a starter reference, "hang" with Big Blueberry and check out his music (or music he would do for this). Be like Emeril... kick it up a couple notches. The title is hilarious... just make sure the music is as "bad" and nasty as the title suggests.

The listing says they're looking for tracks with some "edge" to it. I know you have a nice range of guitars, do you have a Les Paul by chance? Between you and crs7string, I can't remember which ones you have So if you have a Les Paul, get that bad boy out and put those humbuckers in action! Don't be afraid to let them growl man! Dave... I just happened to see the title of the thread and saw Stan's name on it so I thought I'd check it out since I met him at the Rally. Wasn't expecting to see my name in the thread, that was very kind of you to mention me. - Big Blue
Imagine a steel cage match between Daughtry, Coldplay, Paramore and Demon Hunter with Joe Satriani as the referee...

Re: HIGH ACTION/SPORTS INSTRUMENTALS...
Dave & BB,Thanks guys. I guess my first goal was to meet the "not a lot of repeating thematic" criteria. But I can absolutely see where these might not be edgy enough for the listing. I remember the girls used to say "You're too nice"... well, I learned how to change that some time ago, with great results. Now I just need to find my equivialent musical cajones.
