well hello djdale!!--whoa, very nice job my new friend. solid tune, country for sure, and might have a christian placement opportunity especially--but you need more instrumentation that is "country" if that's the direction you're heading, might be just fine for christian as is (says the atheist!! LOL)--you have the song man, just the production may IMHO need to have more c/w insrumentation.but whoever produced this did a helluva clean job, can't complain about that--i'd add some steel, and a bit more lead country guitar as well, but man i'm glad you're here!! nice job. obviously well produced. IMHO i'd just like it more "country and and bit more twang."all the best!warren

Hey Warren! Thanks! Well i hired the best players in Nashville and a Grammy nominated producer. Demo singer is the (now) country superstar Buddy Jewell.I thought at the time it could have a christian cross-over possibility, so I opted to leave out the steel. There is a fiddle in the mix.I learned a while ago that Nashville can 'hear' a sound produced and played by Nashville players.Dale

Wow, thanks for the encouraging words. I haven't gotten the critique back yet on THIS TIME, and do not know if it has been forwarded yet or not. My other post of ODDS ARE is in the same listing so (and still no word yet), hopefully it will get forwarded too!BTW, Andy, I listened to your song "You're Still the Lord" and think it's supurb! I'm sorry I didn't comment on it on your thread. I hope you get a cut with it.I'm glad we have some country fans on the board as well.God Bless,Dale
