Hey Geo!!Cool song man! Melody is really cool and I absolutely love the harmony tracks and how they ebb and flow behind the chorus melody.Maybe say precipice different, some people will struggle with the meaning if that. Im like, "what he call me" jk.I tend to like "brink". Not as generic as edge but more subtle than "precipice".Or say "razors edge", same amount of syllables as precipice.I usually dont suggest words as I think maybe I might be out of line but this is really the only thing in this song that stuck out to me.Is that you singing? Are you using pitch correction and/or a harmonizer? Those harmonies are in perfect tune.Beautiful work man.M~

Geo this tune has some great potential man, serious. Instrumentation and production is great. Vocals are great too, I'd agree with matt on a few of the lyrics but thats all flavors of ice cream. My only issue is that from the get go I hear a rock vocalist doing this tune either a "Yes/Jon Anderson" or even a "Audioslave/Chris Cornel" gritty feel. The vox on this cut is REALLY clean and just doesn't seem to match that big guitar sound... Ah, just a thought but u know what I mean? ;-) wta

Thanks Matt.... the singer is my hetero life partner JT, been singing for me for 15 years or so .... pitch corrected but the harmonies are him.... glad you like the melody... last critique pointed to kicking up the melody so I take it we went in the right direction.....I see where you're coming from with "precipice" but I like it there for some of the same reasons I should change it ....Thanks for the listen Will.... we get that a lot (vocals are clear) but stubbornly move forward..... JT is my best friend.... we are in this together and frankly I like to be able to make out the words... may not be what's in vogue but some things are more important to me like loyalty and friendship.... thanks for the listen guys... got it out on a sub already, fingers crossed....Peace, Geo

hey geo!!very nice production and backing tracks, and man, your voice is gettin' better man, just the right amount of reverb! dig the therapy concept, cell phone in my hand, etc...and i too like to HEAR THE LYRICS in tunes...LOL...nice job on the drums too, they sound a bit more up front at first, and a bit in back later--just my imagination i think, getting the "mix" mixed up in me head. but on 2nd listen, heck do you dare turn them up just a bit more? dunno...i just like the beat man...well, maybe wrong, there they are loud and clear at about 1:42. ...the backing harmony/vocals are very nice--but with this tune, as it's streaming for the 2nd time, are they TOO nice?? don't know...maybe a bit more of an edgy sound...but very nice work man!! you are just getting better and better man....the best, warren

Cool Song!Vocal phrasing is a bit awkward in some places. I am being really picky here but you can take it or leave it - just my twocents. Great harmonies. Great breaks in the middle - maybe make the keys solo a bit more involved. Great drum sounds - that snare pops great. Mix is real nice in my ears. Ending is cool too!! Have to say Matt has some good points on the lyric. Maybe edge instead of precipe. I think the phrasing or melody in 3rd verse in the "everybody's alright" throws me a little.I really like this song! The work you've done shows! Kitz
