I keep forgetting that Taxi doesn't automatically send you emails when your songs are forwarded or returned, like Broadjam does. So I'm pleased to find out that my song "One Thing No Man Should Have To Do" was forwarded recently! I think the listing was in "hard to place" and had to do with homelessness and addiction. I'm going to have to check back more often!Claire

Hey, Claire.first off, big congrats on the forward. Many more...And then, it's been my experience that TAXI does indeed send you emails whether your song(s) have been forwarded OR returned. there was a thread a while back about a glitch in their system, causing many people NOT to get those emails; but they've been great about keeping me posted.Congrats, again.Any chance we can hear it? Hi Ted - guess I'm going to have to check with customer service and see why I'm not getting those emails. I'm probably the only living human over the age of 6 in this country who does not have a MySpace listing. I tried, they kept telling me my email address was already being used (yes, by ME, for heaven sake) so after several tries I just figured I'd live a meaningful life without MySpace. So far, so good.That said, the song is on Broadjam. do an artist search for Claire Ulanoff and there I am. Hope you like it.Claire

Hi Claire,I know I have always received automatic e-mails for all my submissions. Must be something with the system-- I'd give them a jingle and see what's up. I'd also love to listen to your song, but my googling fingers are having a hard time typing b-r-o-a-d-j-a-m... Raags

Hi Claire, Congrats on your forward. I also submitted for the homeless listing and would really like to hear your song. The best way for us taxi forum-ers to do that is to post the link for everyone...just to make it easy. If you are not familiar how to do that, FYI, you right click the song link and do "copy link" then while in your forum right click again and go paste, and the link will appear in your forum text. This makes it so convenient!

Aha. See, you guys think you're dealing with someone who knows something about all this computer stuff! I would be glad to click the song link if I knew where (and what) the song link was! I know how to cut and paste but I don't know where to find what you're talking about. Being on a Mac, I ain't gots no right click but I can go to Edit and copy and paste. Worse comes to worst, the songs are all on my Taxi hosting page - is that where I'd find the elusive song link? Ah, these modern gadgets...Claire Ulanoff

claire,Congrats on the forward! Good job! I've been listening for a bit, and boy...do I hear all kinds of goodies that could be added to this ta' beef it up a little. Not sure what listing this was for, but this is a nice tune. I really like the chord structure. Man...I can hear some strings in the background, some percussion, bass, etc... Wow! I'm almost tempted to try it out, but I won't! Nice lyrics too! I'm no good with lyrics, but I can really relate to what the song is saying. I see why this got forwarded. Great!!ibanez468
