Thanks Chits. Good feedback as I sort of lose sight after listening to a song for the ten millionth time. There's a listing in RowFax this week for "Waymore's Outlaws", which I guess is Waylon's old band with a new singer (posted some details below for those interested). Maybe I'll pitch Cold Feet to them.Cam===========Tuesday, July 29, 2008Waymores OutlawsHere's some good news for Waylon Fans...Waylons old band gets back together, fronted by Tommy Townsend.WAYMORE’S OUTLAWS WITH TOMMY TOWNSEND FORMS Band Has Blessing of Waylon’s Wife Jessi Colter (Nashville, Tennessee…) – July 3, 2008Former long-time members of Waylon Jennings’ band have formed Waymore’s Outlaws as a tribute to the late Country Music Hall of Famer, and singer/songwriter Tommy Townsend will handle lead singer duties. “We’re all really excited about getting out and playing this music that was such a big part of our lives, and I think Waylon’s fans will really like Tommy’s talents and energy on stage,” said Waylon’s longtime bass player/tour manager Jerry “Jigger” Bridges.“We wouldn’t do this without the blessing of Jessi (Colter, Waylon’s wife) and we plan to make her and the entire family proud.”In addition to performing Waylon’s hits, Waymore’s Outlaws will also back Townsend on his own music. He had a modest radio hit last year with “Cowboys Want It” as half of the country duo Townsend O’Donnell. The duo parted ways earlier this year, and Townsend continues to sing, write and play as he pursues a career as a solo artist.

Hi Cameron,Cold Feet is the one that sticks in my head the best but both songs are excellent and well produced from what I can tell through my computer speakers. What ever liberties were taken in melody definitely work for me.Jeff

Thanks Liam and Jeff... I'm glad Cold Feet sticks with you Jeff, as I kind of like it too. I guess you wouldn't know from hearing it but I spent a lot more time on it than on Same Shirt. The singer on Cold Feet is Trent Jeffcoat. He's one of the regulars Jimi uses at her studio.I love that guitar solo on Cold Feet, and both demos have a really good groove to me. I love it when the musicians make me look good!Cam

Jimi is Jimi Heath who is also the administrator for this list. She doesn't talk about her studio on the list, but it's OK if we do. Her web site is nashvilledemostudio.com. They've done a great job for me and are very reasonable. I may use another studio some time if I'm after a certain sound (each studio seems to have their own) but they'll be doing most of my demos.I'm not sure if they do mastering. You can give Jimi a call at 904-540-4008.Cam
