You can (as a Taxi member) enter one song per panel, chances of being pulled are slim. You have (as a Taxi member) the chance to have an appointment with the mentor of your choice. You have the chance to sing one song at the open mic if your ticket is called. If you have a ticket to one or more mentor lunch(es), you have the opp to pass a CD to the mentors who come to your table. Some folks run up after panels and try to give CDs to panelists. The rest is networking effectively.Really enjoyed the song! No nits that I can hear. Nice harmonies, good lead vocals, well mixed. Very good.

Are there going to be mentors there that will be looking for the genre music that they represent?

Question I see that the list is out for the mentors that are going to be at the rally. My music is Urban Gospel and I really didn't see any mentors that specifies in this genre of music who do you think will be the best one to for my style of music I am open to suggestion.

Jason Blume might be a good choice.

Hey JP.You have some great tunes. Nice leads and background, tight harmonies. My question for you is, What exactly are you trying to do? IE) Be a songwriter and pitch songs or Be an artist...The music industry as a whole is getting smaller ( in terms of the big labels) Right now gospel has what... EMI, Sony, and ZOMBA, last I heard Zomba ate up Verity. Chances of being an artist on one of the larger labels are slim. There are however tons of indies that do fairly well. With your songwriting ability you could definitely write for some of these artists out there like the Canton Jones or Smokey Norful's.Just my 2cents.Best Regards
