I wish it was a Gary Allan "hold", but it is not. We were offered a single song publishing deal by a publisher who wants to pitch it to Gary Allan and license it to other artists. I'll let you know if there is a hold, but we are a long way away from that. -P

Y'all have fun at the Rally...btw, Perry and Claire, another congrats for getting your song as far as a publisher. That's fantastic.

No worries on this end. No panic attacks allowed at the Rally--you should just be relaxing and having a good time. Thanks, Chits. Hope you have been well.

My security detail advises me that I should not announce publicly where I will be and when at the Rally , however, although I am not a drinker, I would be happy to buy a few for you, Cam and Warren, while I sip a Diet Coke. So, if you want, PM me and we can figure out a place to meet up, if you will have the time. And thanks for the listen and comments. By the way, I just wanted to mention that I listen to a lot of songs here, but I am generally hesitant to comment because I don't want to encourage or discourage anyone in the wrong direction and I just don't think I know enough to be objective about what is good or needs work. I know what I like and what I don't, but I am not sure that means anything. -Perry

I don't know what the hell I'm talking about most of the time and that doesn't stop me from spouting off, lol. Actually, I think it's good to get a lot of opinions... even if they're just that. When you get enough of 'em you have a consensus.

Cam,I agree that we can all be helped by opinions, here. In fact, the other song I have posted here ("Ordinary Man") has some changes in it that were the result of opinions right here on these boards. But for some reason, I hesitate to give mine. It makes me feel a little ungrateful, I'll admit, because I do ask for opinions and then I rarely give them. Yet, I am listening to the songs posted--many of them. Maybe I will try to be less hesitant and throw some of my thoughts out there. Of course, if any want my opinion, specifically, please feel free to PM me and I will give it a listen and give you my thoughts privately.-Perry
