ANOTHER 1 UP 4 REVIEW!!-- REVISED
Hey TAXIdermites!Puttin' another one up for review. I may be waaayyy off with this one (if so, I think it may have a chance at some other listing), but perhaps your input can help me decide. Lemme know whatcha think! MODERN ROCK/HARD ROCK INSTRUMENTALS are wanted by a very successful Production Music Library who has placements with ABC, CBS, NBC, WB, Disney, Discovery, Lifetime, Fox, USA, etc. (to name just a few). It's vital that the tracks have a lot of variation and dynamic shifts, with momentum and build. You'll want to focus on high energy, uptempo tracks with a clear forward movement and compelling dynamics. A current, radio-ready tone is essential for this one! You can submit tracks that range between 1-4 minutes in length and be sure there are NO VOCALS on these tracks.Against The ClockAlright fellas! Here's the revised version. I think this is more along the lines of what everybody suggested. Do I even need ta' bother with changing the synth sound now? Lemme know!Against The Clock 2I-468

Re: ANOTHER ONE UP FOR REVIEW!!
Whoa, that rocks! I'd like to hear a version perhaps with the guitar & synth parts reversed - guitar on the melody (maybe with a 2nd guitar harmony?) and then synth on the solo. But hey, I'm a guitar guys so, heck with the cowbell --- more guitars!

Re: ANOTHER ONE UP FOR REVIEW!!
I wish I knew enough about this genre to say for sure, but I think the synth bits are straying too far from the "Modern rock/hard rock" criteria. The guitar solo mid way is great...I would think using your axe front to back might get more love than the synth. I know you've got the chops, young jedi...I'd lean more towards going that direction.Just my $0.02 of course, and I'm really looking forward to everyone else's opinion too, to see if I'm waaay off side.

It definitely rocks and gives the dynamic contrast they've asked for.I also am not convinced about the synth part. You might try a different synth voice, or a B3. The current synth voice just doesn't say ROCK to me...Good luck.AlP.S. I really enjoy your work!

Re: ANOTHER ONE UP FOR REVIEW!!
hey Ibanez, I have to ditto the synth sound. maybe it would be better if the whole melody was guitar. Great energy . . . everything is cool except for that daggone synth.

OK guys, we'll do! I think I can manage that! I'll change the synth to guitar(s) and re-post when I'm done. Thanks for all of the feedback. Much appreciated!I-468

Dear Mr Ibanez, for me it was stunning. But I'm not the reviewer. For me, you filled every word of that listing brilliantly. The synth sound was a great counter-foyle for the lead break. If you had used the lead guitar earlier, then there was nowhere for your to build to! But, I'm sure if you do change to straight guitars, you'll still do a fabulous job. Michael.

Re: ANOTHER ONE UP FOR REVIEW!!
I like the idea of a different synth patch or else just guitars. The rhythm guitar has a different verb than the synth so it sounds like they are in different rooms. You hear a slap-back on the git and the synth is totally dry. HTH Wig
