Great vibe to this song. I get Charlie Daniels with the fiddle, but it's all good. Great bass sound. Great lyrics, harmony and production. not sure I ever heard two fiddles in harmony quite like that.I don't do this genre very often, but if I did, this is what I would shoot for.I would submit this just as it is. Fine work, man, Wig

Both these links should work now. Just slightly different mixes.

Yes... very Charlie Daniels. Almost too much unless you can get Charlie himself to cut it. The chorus chord progression sounds a lot like Eddie Rabbit's "Drivin' My Life Away" and the melody notes, although not exactly the same, are in nearly the same range as that song.Nice fiddle work, but the drums and bass get a little loose feeling during the instrumental breaks.Camp.s. I listened to the second link.

Thanks Cam,My critique from taxi said drums and bass were too stiff in the break and to loosen it up with hi hat or percussion so I doubled up on hi hat and that's what you heard don't know if that's what made it loose or just the groove is loose. Will revisit. I see what you mean about the chorus melody - never thought of that before.Kitz

Kitz, did you produce this? Is this a demo service or you?Nice production. I think when you doubled the hi hatm its slightly out of time with the drum bed track.Sounds really good overall. Cool song.M~
