Hi guys.... this is the original version of my punk demo from last week... Love Song #2..... more modern rock... even with the chorus from the second version.....Got a vocalist coming over Monday so my question is is it done?The song.... not the recording.... this is music version #4 and lyric version 5 or 6... Hey guyI know you think your voice is painful, but I disagree. It fits perfectly, especially with the distortion.Remember Cam when he sang "I'd rather be lucky:? The singer he used was talented, but never conveyed the feeling/timing that the original had. I would think about that?I really liked the driving beat of the first mix, but this is really good too. Very clean.Kinda remined me, back in 63 when I was dating one of the Miller twins. She was so fine, but her sister was all of a sudden looking very good:) Your songs are really starting to sound more polished.Good luck again friendPaul

well geo!-i agree (duh,) with the new hook (though i'd pound it a few more times....) LOL....but really, yes i would...the question now is to find a market. i really like the new cut, piano entry, et al, but the vibe of the other version sticks a bit more to my craw for some reason, more punkish. (did runner say that?) yes, there it is up there...but the new lyric/structure works QUITE well IMHO. now it's just what tempo? can't help with that at all. as always, your call my man,nice job!warren

Hey man, the tune rocks I wasn't even thinking anything about the vocals until I read your entire post. Personally if you have to pay for a vocalist I would keep yours, I like it. If he's doing it for free it would be interesting to compare the two, your voice adds a good unique touch to the song.Nice track man

well young man--i think it is ready, but...i'm going to pound this and i know how pissed you get! LOL....in your first chorus, i'd ADD ONE MORE FAYE LINE AT THE END (you have 1 now, i'd add one more, and you got the vocal "room" for it no problem..2 TOTAL, so it's set up real nice for the later ones...), that's all i got, whatever happens, good luck!!!!!!! I mean I'm allowed to have a song every now and then which I'm happy with and think is laid out just right (All She Said was Maybe) but in general I'm very open to suggestions.... that's why I post rough demos.... cause I want input before I commit to full production... so fire away!!!! OK to make Warren happy I repeated the hook after the first chorus and added a whole turnaround after the third chorus so I could get it in aagain ... Fiddled with the drums... fills going into chorus... made changes in some of the lyrics above but JT didn't make it over so this Monday is the day...Peace, Geo
