ok geo!MY opinion--i dig this and think it's ready for wherever you want to take it! just one more Q.--is the musical interlude going to have a screaming cool guitar or other instrumentation? if so, great. if not, my only other suggestion would be that it's on the lengthy side--i'd pick it up when the drums double time it before your vox re-entry, as there aint much happenin' in the musical break before that. but don't know what you have planned...that's all i got. GREAT job, can't wait to hear the finis!all the best from faye's brother in law--ray!

Hey guys...I redid my vocal... still a few rough spots.... I can't sing "love" on key apparantly ... added back-ups... redid the piano and touched up the drums....Let know what you think... still a rough mix but am I going in the right direction?Am I crazy to even think of submitting something with my voice for an artist pitch? All comments welcomed...Peace, Geo

hey geo--i mean AMP!! (dig the new handle too BTW..)this production is damned good man, i really like the whole enchilada--except and i know i'm beating a dead horse here, but i still think that the musical interlude/bridge kinda just acts like a fill--personally i was hoping for it to be cut in about half, and with a guitar solo on top of it, so it doesn't sound like a filler--it just doesn't IMHO lead us anywhere, and one might lose a bit of interest. but of course, that is my opinion, and i aint no screener, so i'd submit this and get a "pro's" opinion. i dig the drum job by the way--way cool, and this is one of your best productions IMHO.nice work, love, faye's hubby ray

Shorten the section with the crashes or...2. Take out the part just before the vocal when the music picks up.... I'll try both... what's your thinking? Thanks for the props on drums... saw Alanis Morrisette couple of weeks ago and spent the whole show focused on the drummer... really gave me so insight on making drum tracks.... this was my first effort after that so I happy it's paying off...Thanks for the listen you two... I can always count on you guys...Geo

Geo,I LOVE how this sing is evolving!!!! Like leftover pizza, Its better every time. The sound is much more unique than the previous versions Ive heard. It still has that Clash feel to it but sounding more and more like YOUR interpretation. The production is really cool. If you wanted to "punk" it up more I guess you could make tha guitars a little nastier but this production is easy to listen to and sounds balanced. The line "my girl gets what she wants" is brilliant. Perfect time in the song to say that!!!!Great job man your vocals are just right. I hear more confidence in your performance with every change. I think you need to sneer a bit more! (ala Billy Idol) Killer job man!!!M~

Thanks Matt...You guys have done it I'm firing my vocalist and hitting the road..... I think not ... but thank you for the compliments... it gets a little easier everytime I try and it's a fun song to sing..... I was kicked outa the choir @ 7 years old so I never considered trying to sing after that.... Peace, Geo
