PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CONGRATULATIONS, i'm damn near tearing up man!i dig it!! i dig it!!and what the hell you apologizing for some friggin' dark thoughts??? that's called creativity as it speaks to you my friend!!! if the muse allowed you to write the camel tune, it "let's" you write the dark side too!!!!....and folks out here "REALLY give a damn..."--THANK YOU FOR FINISHING THIS TUNE. ok now for the only critique item, but it's minor, but IMHO would help this allot--hey BTW, you are blessed with a young voice man, so USE IT!!!one simple thing to do, as you did at the end (i think, it just turned off and i need to run outta here in a minute,) but i don't remember the chorus having harmony. a simple thing to add if you wish, and i think it would really make this a top notch contender my rockin' friend, is an upper harmony in your choruses's's's, (or however you spell it...)that's it,GREAT JOB, thank you for the listen, and start pitching this puppy...all the best, warren

Hey Paul!I dig the groove here, but I'll give you one quick thought.... put this song on speed and see what you think. Right now for me it's a little on the clunky side... pepping it up 20-30 bpm would take out the mopey attitude and give it a little more anger IMO.... it just depends on the vibe you wanna throw out there. HTH!

warren friendSo glad you had a listen. You really gave me the push on this one. Just finishing I feel a great sense of accomplishment. It is a much larger sense of gratification than having someone actually liking it. I think galen picked up on that. Very easy to add a harmony. Just grab the mic, mute the speakers, put on the cans and sing along. I was always the harmony singer in our band. Did solo on a few. (brown sugar, louie louie etc)Can't wait to start something new. Which way to go???? And yes, we are both softies.Paul

You are due.I think the engineering comes a little easier to, well you know, the younger ones:)PaulI'm sure you're right Paul!Wish we'd had this gear thirty years ago!!I keep going back and forwards between several tracks; some new, some old. Can't get one right, then move to the next and back. This new one's taken weeks to get right, and it still ain't there!I've even gone back to tweak up one I posted, and got the thumbs up for, weeks ago! The more I'm learning, the more I'm a'hearing!! Right there with you guys on this.... this week I learnt how to hide the toolbar on my Macbook.... small thing but wow!!! Took me close to a year to figure that out.... I get so focused on what I'm trying to do I don't consider what I can do!!! Right around the time Taxi was started I was pretty handy with a Fostex 4 track machine but ended up forming a band and the recording took a break... wish I had stood wit it!!!Paul, tune sounds cool.... like the chorus with the little musical interlude before it..... I might just drop the last line of the chorus... or not it could work both ways.... on break.. doesn't need it... here's the thing.... not every song needs a break despite what they say Good job Buddy...Geo

zoomI bet there is a way to bump up the tempo, but I do not have a clue. I only have home studio 2. Don't know if that can be done? Like to see the difference tho? Might experiment. What I like about you is that you always tell it exactly how you see/hear it.Your interpretation is very important to me.Geo/amp (maybe ameo or gamp) To me you will always be geo:)Dave also mentioned how we struggle with the technology. It is fun to find new tricks though. The little interlude was setting that started self cascading so I just let it go. Just by chance it was the same bpm as the tune? Lucky.I did think about dropping that last line. Thanks again yawl (as my daughter from BR says)Paul
