Post by billg » Wed Oct 01, 2008 12:40 am

I wrote & recorded this last night for a listing (outside of Taxi). the only info was;"Looking for a cool song about vampires for the end credit and vampire songs in generalwith fun, cool feels. NOT dark and evil music."So here's my song Vampire Girl. cast your vote . . . Cash or Trash? http://www.billgaunce.com/song/4

I think you have a cool song about vampires for the end credit and vampire songs in generalwith fun, cool feels. I can definitely see this behind the end credits! The feel is fun all the way... Excellent for playing as the people are walking out of a theater where a vampire flick has just ended. Of course, with these vague descriptions (as is typical in this industry), you never really know what type of sound or lyric will float their boat.Excellent submission for this opp! P.S. When you submit, mention that you can turn around any requested lyric adjustments very quickly on request. Not that I think there are any issues... just one more reason to work with you. Best of luck! Casey

I hope you guys are right. I was working on this when I was supposed to be watching House with my wife so I'm sorta in the doghouse. If it's placed I'm sure I'll get a pass from her, otherwise I'm afraid it's gonna cost me dinner & some flowers. Heck, guess I should spring for that anyway . . . it could always go as credit for the next time.

I can tell you surprise the ending in case you need it for dinner conversation... They find a cure for the patient's rare disease at the very last minute and save the day...

Cool track, Bill . Must be VERY close to the listing! And as for the 'looking for a little necro-thrill' line. Awesome! Great lyric. As is Absinthe BTW. Loved the non-stop imagery there. Great lyric and very cool song too!

Great song Bill! I can totally see this being played as the end credits are rolling. Vampires are cool and so is your song! I LOVE IT! - Big Blue
Imagine a steel cage match between Daughtry, Coldplay, Paramore and Demon Hunter with Joe Satriani as the referee...

I think this number is right on, Bill. It's fun and catchy. Ghoulish but in a fun way. Sounds like just what they're looking for. I vote cash. Wig
