I chose to repost this thread here instead of the Songwriter's Nook. I'm gonna submit this to the Carrie Underwood listing. I've already gotten behind the scenes critiques from quite a few members here. I just wanna give Jimi's studio (y'all know her as the moderator of the forum) kudos for her excellent production and engineering of my song, "Silence Is the Best Thing I've Ever Heard." I just love what she did with it....she made my chorus soar and she really souped it up. Thanks, Dave...I think Jimi did an unbelievable job with my song. I dunno, maybe I'm not seeing clearly and biased, but this one makes me feel I've finally written one that might have a chance. And believe me, I'm my worst critic. Of course, without Jimi's studio, this wouldn't have been possible 'coz my Band In A Box production ain't gonna work.
