I like this song, very very good singing and I like the sound of rhodes and electronic piano and the lines you played with them! But, as I am a fan of drums, I would like to hear this with a more bigger drums.. other than that, this is great!

Much better Mark! Something still bugs me a little about the drums but I don't know what I could offer that would be constructive. It's a really cool song & I think you oughta experiment a little more with the drum sounds. Great melody & harmonies!

Just so you guys know, all your comments have been very much in my thoughts. I finally made some changes to this...fuller drum sound, less shishhhhing noise, and got rid of several yada yada yadas so the music could breathe. You are all wise creators. THANK YOU. New mix posted.

Hey Mark!A marked improvement! While there are still a couple of little mix issues in my ears, the overall effect is much more uncluttered and clean. I really like the separation and it has a lot more feel to it. Nice work!As far as mix issues, I think the drums are a tad hot (or the vox is a tad low), and the acoustic guitar needs to come up a bit in the mix, as it's really hard to hear. Not sure if that was intentional though. Also, the whole thing is a bit crunchy... not necessarily over compressed, though it may be on its way. Something to maybe take another listen on anyway.Good piece of music!

Mark, I like this. It really works for me. The sounds are great --- excellent and exciting. Quality work. The vocals are quite good. All around, this works. This is a very song.Tom

hey mark, a "marked" improvement indeed LOL! the yada yada's now sit just right! what you do compress it, lower eq, seem like you took a few out. i know i complained before (sorry...) i now DIG IT MAN!.ok, still very clapton-esque to me, and no problem at all with it. i'd still like to hear your vocal just a bit more up front, and the solo guitar work in the background i'd bring out more when and if you can.damn good song (still) and that "you better believe!"all the best, warren

Someday I'll get some monitors...Zoom, thanks! I was thinking it might be too bass and vocal heavy, but I've learned to trust your ear. I'll remix with more vocal and acoustic and back off on some of the "Maximizer" that is probably giving that over-compressed feel.Tom, thanks again!Warren, yes, I just deleted a few of those yada yada yadas, the ones in the middle of the verses just struggled against the vocal...too busy. All tracks were re-EQ'd...I forget after awhile I've made so many aborted attempts. Don't be sorry because your complaints helped me see the light. You're the second vote for more vocals, and I was thinking they might be too up-front...I will bump them up as well as the electric guitar bit. Thanks!!
