Thanks for the eBow info, Geoff -- much appreciated. It's on my list of things to play with!! And Steve, here's a video of Coleman Barks, my favorite Rumi translator, reciting a Rumi poem over improvised music:

hi steve--a very nice and amazingly diverse piece, the vocals, drums coming in, everything sits and is structured very well for such a "long" piece. guitar tastefully placed, and yep, mr. impatient me listened to it all.one thing i'm not sure of is with the vocals and drums, if it is a truly "meditative" piece if that's what you're going after, but i may have misunderstood. whoa, and there's the cello/strings,great mixing job too. this definitely has a place, if i were a director/producer of film, i'd buy it NOW. i hear many homes for this so to answer your question as i look back up, yes, IMHO this is wonderfully new age to these ears.you deserve great luck with this my friend! somebody said on another post somewhere that they had a hard time meditating to music, and i'm one of those too--but this i want to listen to and absorb!!the best, warrenps: the only thing actually that i'm not sure about IS the heartbeat, as it started it reminded me of floyd, guitar strum and all, but as it progressed obviously different...i'm not usually a fan of the heartbeat, water, etc stuff, but can go either way with this quality work...

Heinsite, thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Is it meditative? I guess it depends on the person. It has a hypnotic quality to it. I hope it finds a home eventually. Thanks!Steve
