Hi everyone now for something completely different. Boy did Warren and I have a blast putting this song together. i wrote a song last year for a old friend of mine called Dave-o. I played it for Warren and ask him to put different lyrics to the song and he did. And behold Margo is born and the rest is history. Hey Warren and Bill. Yea, I can tell you guys had a blast putting this one together. Well played and produced. Like the lyrics too. Interesting crossing of genres. Kinda seems a cross between new country and sixties pyschodelic pop. Maybes that's just me. The first phrases of the verses reminds me of the old song "Lucy, don't take your love to Town". Think that's the title. It's really old song from the 70's I think. Anyways, I like this and can't suggest anything to make it better...Just wanted to say...Way to Go guys...Derek

hey runner!!hell no man, i think i've hit about 4 in the last week or so, was outta town, and been demo'ing some tunes (you just heard one that billy inspired mostly) but my other came in as well, another c/w/americana, so i'll post it next week when i get the .wav. runner my man, i'll listen to ALL YOUR STUFF either tonight or manana, i PROMISE--as i just told billy wren, i just spent 6 hours cutting wood (not splitting, or i'd be DEAD, ) with chainsaw, but man, the 800 mg motrin is kicking in...also looking for a rental/investment out here on the left coast, so been doin' that 1/2 a day every day. and before anyone thinks i'm friggin' rich or somethin' it was a piece of property we've had for 20 years, and it's time to try to pay some bills!! 3 kids in or going to college, etc....sooooo, too much info like usually i know, but buddy, i would NEVER diss you my friend over the net!!!later gator,wh

gee shucks folks,thanks a whole bunch for your comments, as i told billy, if only EVERY margot would buy it, or if there's a SCREENER named Margo, we have a shot--LOL! and yeah, this is typical it appears for even my co-writes--nobody knows where it belongs??? we'll see about that my little missy... this was my first collab that has been finished, and it WAS a lot of fun. billy wren is one talented dude--i don't care what they say about him!!
