Help---ACOUSTIC GUITAR/PIANO INSTRUMENTALS

Post by bwrenhewmach » Thu Sep 11, 2008 9:59 am

Hi everyone this dispatch came up and I was wondering if you all think my song Heart To Heart would fit the bill. Thanks mBhttp://www.soundclick.com/bands/default.cfm?ba ... T-SOUNDING ACOUSTIC GUITAR/PIANO INSTRUMENTALS are needed immediately by a Music Licensing company run by a veteran of the industry, for various Film/TV placements. A current sound is requested and a primarily solo/acoustic sound is what is most needed here. It's okay if there are a few background instruments in the mix, as long as the main focus is on the acoustic instrument that's featured. A variety of moods will be considered, as they'll be looking for tracks that are appropriate for dramatic Film/TV scenes as well as light/happy/comedic scenes. They'll also be interested in some that are heart-warming/inspirational/romantic. All tempos will be considered, but ballads to mid tempo will be most desirable for this one. Instrumentation is open - just be sure the sound is simple, acoustic and not overbearing or imposing dynamically. Your tracks need to be 2-5 minutes long and be of the highest quality - they're looking for exceptional instrumentals and performances. Broadcast quality is absolutely essential. They offer a non-exclusive deal where all profits are split 50/50 between the company and the writer (you keep your copyrights). Please submit 1-3 instrumentals online or per CD. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than 10am PST on Tuesday, September 16, 2008. TAXI #D080916IN

U OLD ROMANTIC U..... .Might be a little heavy in the intro department, But the rest is just perfect....They say dramatic ...lot of moods considerd...Main Focus On Acoustic Instrument.....I think Zoom....Mojo...Bird... Dave, and some of the more experience ones will give u the right answer on this piece....Anyway..Superb piece again..... Jay.......

I'm think of submitting to this listing but honestly I have no idea what would fit. I think your stuff is probably alot better than what I have in mind...so hard to 'call the ball' on these things sometimes. I say, 'Submit'! and Good Luck!

Bill, I like this a lot. I think that ambient pad underneath really gives it the modern sound they're looking for. It reminds me a bit of the film score to "A Map of the World" that Pat Matheny did. I think you would like it.Good luck with it!Steve
