I picture a landscape with forest and a lake beside it, maybe a desert road with a lonely driver in a car not knowing what to come. Liked it best with the piano and pizzicato, not sure about the other sound there, a little bit to sticky in my ears that pad sound.

Very strong piece! I think you could do more with the pizz, perhaps bringing it up to the viola/violin range (as long as it stays light). You may want to EQ this piece to take out some of the muddy lows, or perhaps bringing down the bass line will help with it.IMO, I don't think the synth does anything for the piece except shock you out of enjoying it. And, I think it brings a whole different mood to the piece -- which I've read in here from some of the guys who know as something not to do. If you stick with the strings, you've got yourself a winner for lots of listings!

Maybe break up the pizz stuff with more variety. It's good to start with but sounds copied after a minute or so. Improvise a little with the bass lines.Nice piece though and a great way to work on this stuff... add a piece at a time.

TY Guys! Yep! That pad sounds horrible. I know, strings should go better with this, but I have Stringphobia!

this is nice but I'm with the others. Actually I don't think you really need to add anything where the synth is . . . just pull it out, it's messing up your nice track!

Hey Brinda --This is a lovely piano piece that I think stands alone. (cue bad Faux Mafioso voice: We don't need no stinkin' pads! )It's GORGEOUS all by itself! Suz
