you know what i love....the different TYPES of "high octane" ...the genres'great job guys/gals!and Mazz, my goal is to get my orchestration chops to the point where I can sound like a "minor league" Mazz..(we all know we can't compete with Major League Mazz!)truly inspiring.

Re: 98 Octane!!!
Hey Mazz, Cool stuff. Really liked the first one with the electronica/guitar thing going on there. The kind of retro feel of the second was very good too.Hey Vicki,WOW!!!!!! The electronica piece is just great.....and the two jazzy pieces are excellent.....I love the manic vibe to all three of these pieces. Great stuff guys....Well as for me, I had one forward and one reject. Forward was just a straight ahead rock piece.http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... m=trueGood luck to all who were forwardedDerek

Re: 98 Octane!!!
Bob,Could you post your track that was returned. There is a feeling around here that we can learn a lot from forwards and returns in the endless pursuit of trying to write to the listing.I know I've done this in the past and got good input. Based on the input when a similar listing popped up, within about ten days, equipped with this new perspective a wrote a new track and was forwarded.BTW We have all been returned, it's all part of the game. I'm of the opinion that if your forward ratio is too good, you're not stretching and growing, especially if you're trying to write in a new genre.Chuck
