Steve.... is there a particular listing that you're shooting for... are you submitting as an artist or as songwriter? If you have some specific criticism you're looking for, please let us know. These are things I like to know ahead of time before i get into critiquing people's work. Thanks

I am responding to both artist and songwriter posts, I'd love both or either one. Please do give me a critique! Thanks

Hey Steve.... They're pretty good songs, but do sound a little dated to me. If you're going for artist listings, I would probably go back in the studio, recut at least some of the tracks, and try to get closer to maybe a current Foo Fighters type of sound. Everything is pretty much on track here, though IMHO both tracks lack some vocal intensity and the mix is a little muddy from too many effects . Might want to reconsider the drum patches here too and get a real drummer on it. Again, this is for artist pitches....For song pitches, I think you can get away with a little more, though you still might want to go back in and recut the vocals to add some intensity. And if you did just that one thing, I think these songs could be good for some of the tv/film listings that call for non-specific grunge and 90's/early 00's alt rock.hope that helps!

Thanks zoom, your opinion has proved that you know what you're talking about and I very much appreciate the input!Especially about redoing the vocals for more intensity, and of course the sound quality needs improvement, I didn't know that the effects would muddy the sound, I'll keep that in mind during future recordings.Much appreciated! Steve.PS What does IMO or IMHO stand for?
