Country - Last Call
I've done a more traditional country song for your consideration call "Last Call".Lyrics below.www.taxi.com/kirtburcroffThanks,KirtLast CallIn the wee hours of the morningIn bars across the landThey’re turning up the lightingAnd tearing down the bandThey’re flipping over barstoolsSweeping up the floorAnd if you plan on drinking You can only get one more.Last call, last callJust like that the party endsLast call, last callYou sober people help your friendsLast call, last callNo one’s ever happy whenThe girl behind the bar yells hey y’allLast callMen looking for a hook-upGirls looking for a beauAnd everyone looks betterThan they did two hours agoThere’ll be a few mistakes madeDecisions to regretAs two short words get hollered outWhen no one’s ready yetLast Call, last callJust like that the party endsLast Call, last callYou sober people help your friendsLast call, last callNo one’s ever happy whenThe girl behind the bar yells hey y’allLast call© 2008 Fade To Black Records

I love that classic sound. Very deep sound. This song is a sure thing. I think the song could benefit by having a real "rowdy" style of singer singing it. This song hits the nail on the head.

Thanks for the listen.I set out to write a bar song along the lines of Friends in Low Places. My first try was a little faster but then I decided to try and give it a little more of a classic Alan Jackson feel.I agree that the vocal could use a little sprucing up. Hopefully I'm getting enough of the feeling across just doing it myself. Thanks again.Kirt

Steve - Thanks for the listen. It's so valuable to have artists like you to give feedback for someone like me just starting out. That's one of the greatest things about Taxi.Kirt
