Hello Vicky,Actually the solo section I was referring to was the bari sax solo. I think a continuation of a melodic idea may work better than a long solo section. Don't get me wrong. Most of my performance background is in jazz (sax) and I personally enjoyed the listen. I am just thinking that for film/tv type stuff the long bari solo may not work. As far as the accents and breaks go you might be able to go either way. I thought they added a nice punch but once again, will they work with the film clip action or will it even be an issue? I don't know. These are just my thoughts. Best of luck to you. Looks like you have lots of useful comments here to take into consideration.Kurt

Don't get discouraged, it takes a while to get the "feel" for what makes a good library/background piece. Research and trial and error is all I can recommend.

thanks everyone.... I may submit 'Helicopter', just for fun ... I'm not too clear what constitutes too much melody for a library piece, ..I have pile to listen to....so I'm on the right track....thanks again.VickyJeff.... hopefully someone needs music for a surf chase....Matto...thanks... are most of the instrumental listings for libraries?Steini...yes live band....Kurt...thanks for the editing ideas...good luck with the listings
