Hiya Mike. I'm no expert in this genre, but I like the track. I especially "get" the boxy drum sound and I think it fits what you're going for.I also get that this is a kind of jam song and is supposed to be a little loose, but parts of it were waaaaayy loose (especially the keys - they seem to be ahead of the beat the whole time) and that did bother my ears. Are they on a separate track that you can just nudge forward a couple of ticks?Anyway, just my 2 cents' worth. What do I know - I was listening to Sesame Street albums in the '70s.Kathleen

From other discussions I've seen on this, I seem to remember that you can go ahead and re-post new versions after you've submitted. Whatever is on your page when they actually get around to doing the screenings is what they'll hear.Kathleen

Sounds good, Mike. I like the guitar tone and the playing. I agree about the keys being a little off, but over all I think it sounds very 70s. Good luck!!!

Hi Mike,I really like your tune... If I was walking down the street and heard that coming out of a club, I definitely have to go in...On the repost- go ahead and repost-- I posted some tunes to a listing, and for some reason I hit the play button before submitting and found that the .mp3 was all garbled, and one was cut short. I contacted Taxi and they fixed the problem ( there was something between my computer and the server that was just right.) I asked what about the submission I already made, and he replied they take the latest submission on file.Good Luck!Bob

Ok that sounds good. I think i'll do some last minute tweaking and repost..does any one hear any distortion in the track or is it just my ears. I think it might be coming from a tape saturation plugin i've been experimenting with. Do you guys think that the distortion helps with the 70's vibe or not?? thanks Mike
