Hi All,Ok this isn't my usual style of writing, but one day a friend asked me to help write a commical punkish sounding song for her music project... so this is the outcome....Let me know what you all think? I'm not looking for crits on the mixing and what not as this is just a mock-about song... hope you all enjoy...http://www.soundclick.com/bands/default ... =751333the song is called ODE TO GREENPEACE

Re: Ode To Greenpeace
Oh, it is a veritable ode to the BBW! (Big Beautiful Woman)An anthem of chubby-chasers everywhere.I don't think Ode to Greenpeace is the best title for it. Too general. Something like, "Save a whale, harpoon a ___" (you pick the euphemism -- I don't recommend Fat Bitch being in the title). It would be a phrase like "Save a horse, ride a cowboy"Or "Save a cow, eat a cowgirl"You get the idea. -Erica

Re: Ode To Greenpeace
Wow, LOL, this is truly a novelty song. And on behalf of women everywhere, you'd think I'd be offended, but I actually liked this song. I liked it 'coz instead of making victims out of 'fat' women, you make them powerful. The Scottish accent doesn't hurt you either, especially in America. But my God, how can anyone eat haggis? I'm with Unwoman on this one....I'd change the "Ode to Greenpeace" title....unless you were purposely going for that effect.....tying in a politically correct title with a not so politically correct song. If so, nice contrast there. This song is edgy, irreverent, catchy....all those cool things.Fat bottom girls, yeah, you make the rockin' world go 'round.

Hey,Thank you soooo much for the feedback.... Yeah I'm not too keen on the name " Ode To GreenPeace", I will have a fiddle around to change it.I'm really glad no-one got offended (biggest fear with this song),Yeah I though of Queen's - Fat Bottom Girls song, it 's such a classic line!Yeah Haggis, just one of those very special things that the scots do... I'm actually South African, so I'm used to eating what's classed NORMAL food, not weird things stuffed inside a sheep's belly....
