Hi Vicki,I guess I'm the lone voice for thinking this piece is fine the way it is - just not right for a Christmas listing.I agree that the production is fine.Of course, assuming it's done in some kind of DAW, it should be a piece of cake to experiment with several of the suggestions above. The best part, however, is that you needn't "trash" this version. I suggest reworking it per others' suggestions, but I would also recommend hanging on to this version as I can very easily picture it as a background to a light comedy scene. For example: As I listen to it, I close my eyes and I see a "Disney-esque" scene where a baby or small child (or pet) is happily crawling around creating havoc and completely destroying a home or apartment (in fact I think there is such a scene, but I can't dredge up the movie right now). I guess my point is, why not mess around with it and have several different versions in your arsenal in case a very specific film/TV listing should come up? Can't hurt...

Hi, Vikki - I can hear this playing in the background of a children's show -- like Seasme Street, Teletubbies, etc. I also hear the Santa's Workshop aspect too. Also perhaps in children's movie -- like the Wee People series. I wouldn't change it at all - it has a rightful place somewhere!! Maybe all it needs is just a new title like, "Sunny Day." Best of luck...TriciaTricia

Thanks Steve, Michael & Tricia! I like this piece a lot, I think you are right, just needs to be properly targetted. I've taken out the sleigh bells & renamed it "Toy Happy" and I'll pitch it for children's programming.http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... eam=truePS - I still need to incorporate some of the other suggestions, but this is a start.

Hi Hummingbird.Nice job on Toy Happy, besides targeting for Children's Programming, this would also make an excellent selection for the listings that call for " Classical Instrumental originals". Although it has that definite childlike quality to it, when I listened to it, Toy Happy brought up images of the "Nut Cracker Suite".Good luck!

Nice job, Vikki. I never got to hear the first version, but my first reaction to THIS version was to make a joke about those :30 bits you mention on another thread. then I couldn't of a funny-enough way to say it. A tighter, shorter version of this would sound (to MY ears, anyway) tailor-made for (kids') TV/video/commercial placement. Just something to consider. LOTS of potential here...Ted
