Need instructions on attaching song to thread

Post by tomyco » Thu Oct 04, 2007 6:47 am

I'm new taxi and to recording, I would love to have some of my fellow songwriters critique my songs. Can some one tell me the step by step instructions on how to include an original song that is in Itunes into a thread. Thanks!

Welcome,The best way that I've found is to upload an mp3 at 192KBS (you can do the conversion in iTunes) to your taximusic account and then after it's been encoded by TAXI for streaming (takes less than an hour in my experience), right click on the "play" button next to the song title and copy the link however your browser/os allows you to do so (for instance on Mac/Safari "copy link"). Then paste it in to your post. The same goes for the "download" link if you'd rather let folks download the higher quality (192K) mp3. It seems most on the forum are using the streaming function rather than the download. You can also choose to not have the piece downloadable via the TAXImusic.com page.Hope this helps,Mazz
