Thanks Geo. I appreciate the input. I will take a moment to clarify the lyrics though. (which probably is a good indication they need changed Basically what this song is about is that I'm an asshole. I take friends and family for granted, etc, etc. So the whole "memorize my love" bit is saying "Hey, remember when you saw the best of me? That was the truth and how I really feel." Not to get to dark here, but the song is also about suicide and what lies beyond death, hence the whole last section. "By grace I might find....." So the question at the end is "will I find God? or is this all merely evolution with nothing afterwards?

Hey had to come back and read what I wrote. I got where you were going with the last verse, I think what I was trying to get across is depending on the submission (as an artist or as a song for another artist) they seem to look for different things lyrically. For a submission for another artist they might say the imagery is too specific, narrowing the market for your song but on an artist submission for yourself/band you might get praised for unique use of imagery. Just something to consider... GeoP.S. listened again, nice tune.
