Classical anyone?

Did anyone submit to the Public Domain Classical listing?I decided to play it middle of the road and do my interpretation of Debussy's orchestration of Satie:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... eam=1Still working on the orchestral simulations. Beautiful!! I see what you mean in one spot about the orchestration but don't really hear it elsewhere. Lovely.Nope, I didn't send anything in for the classical listing. I have a piece but I don't think it would work for this. I was considering the Public Doman listing for Nearer My God To Thee. I have a nice a capella piece for that but ended up feeling a little insecure so I didn't do it.This is lovely.

Mazz, I thru my "classical hat" in the ring with Mozart. I did this with all mallet instruments and percussion. My inspiration was a disc I picked up along time ago called "Bach On Wood" I actually think this turned out kind of funny. It feels a little stiff but I think that's as much Mozart as quantization. Mazz, Your Satie is great!!I was going to do Gymnopedie 2 but ran out of time. All the Satie stuff is great.I remember first hearing #1 on a Blood, Sweat, and Tears album a long time ago and I think it was the reason I searched out how to play major seventh chords on the guitar. ( now I can play major seventh chords with a #5!!! )Chuck

Chuck, I liked the interpretation, good ideas and execution. The ratchet sound was fun. I almost did something like that with a different piece but decided to keep it more inside for this listing.Good luck!Mazz
