Hi!Which page are you talking about?BTW I put a 2nd try on my page above and tried. I tried to clear up the low frequencies and in my opinion it's still not PERFECT but much better than V1.I'll play around with the mix in the next few weeks to see what works best and hope you don't mind to give me some feedback on V2 and the upcoming V3. ByeMarcin

I posted a link to Voxengo Span maybe 6 weeks ago? It's been so educational for me. As for the song, it does seem to drag a little. Also, the guitars seem to be too distorted, perhaps. It seems that, when I mix, a little distortion goes a long way. Maybe try that route. Generally, I'll layer 2 or 3 guitars, lightly distorted, and this gives the illusion of more distortion. Well maybe it's not an illusion... I'm too new to mixing to tell you what it is, but it sounds better than just having one guitar with more distortion I hear the Ian Anderson thing too... good voice indeed. The song, once perfected, would probably fit very well into some TV / Movie opportunities, just like others suggested. I'm definately feeling the moodiness. Good luck with it! Dave

Yeah I thought about doubling the power-guitar too. I'll try that out.Thx for the voice-compliments. As I mentioned I'm not a native speaker and realy would like to know if my accent sounds bad. Once someone told me that it sounds a little bit like Arnold Schwarzenegger, so I'm used to this kind of critics, but I would like to hear your opinion to. Is it realy THAT bad?Does anybody has exeirience with taxi listings where foreign languages are prefered? I haven't seen one yet, but I don't check the listings on a regularly.Thx a lot again.ByeMarcin

V2 is much better.looking forward to hear V3 I'm not native English either, but to my ears the accent is barely noticeable. definitely not an A.S. anyway But this is probably better judged by others than me

I think the vocal 'accent' bothers you more than us. I can't hear an accent. You do tend to stay down towards the bottom end of your register though. The safe end!! Let it go every now and then. The gtr sounds are not great - take Dave's advice: find a good sound, keep it low-ish and double track. Widen it.Good luckLiamwww.liamkellylive.com

The music is very 'Procul harum', but with a different type of voice.I like the production. Parts of the song remind me of another song that I've been trying to remember, but can't for the life of me. The vocal line that is.
It's been said that I have Murderous eyes.

@jeffe - so someone's stolen parts of my song, he? @liamkelly - yeah the guitars need some fixing, but I'm not so sure what you mean with the voice - I know I can sing pretty low and I must admit I do it on purpose, cause I like those dark and deep voices such as Cohen, Cash, maybe Cave ... and oh this guy from the Crash Test Dummies - do you remember them - mhm mhm mhm mhm? And to be honest, what you hear here isn't my bottom end of my register. Did I get you right? You would say that it sounds like I force the "low" singing to much?@accent: thx! good to know what you guys think!Bye!Marcin

MarcinNope. I don't think you're forcing it at all. I think you've written this piece in a key that suits your voice. Probably a baritone or bass-baritone. I just think that maybe you should push it a bit more. The notes that we push to reach usually convey more emotion than any of the others. They sound like they're coming from the heart. But let's not lose sight of the real issue here: which is that this piece has real potential All the bestLiam
