I should mention, I plan to get this mixed/mastered by a pro, but I need to know if what I've got is working first.

Vikki. This is about 5 orders of magnitude better than anything I've heard from you at JPF or MM! The sounds are great and the mix is good. There's a couple of spots where you lose the vocal. I would TWEAK the mix on those spots, rather than increasing the overall level of the vocal, which is perfect IMO.The only real nit I have is the clipped ending. If and A&R person listens to the whole piece, you don't want to upset them with a clipped ending. If you're clipping it on purpose, it doesn't work musically IMO - with all the etherial, stringy sounds you've got.Great job, Ian

Hi Ian - thanks very much for the listen and the feedback. I'll go back and try to figure out where those spots are that the vocal gets a little lost in the mix. I think one spot might be the bridge.I'm not really sure what you mean by a clipped ending... there's a tag at the end and then a swirly spacey thing swirls up almost like you're taking off. I wonder if the player did something wierd & cut off the ending? Thanks again for your comments - appreciate it a lot!!
