(and these were forwarded for the "Love Scenes (instrumentals)" listing.)wooHOO!TedAgain, this version is only the right hand:"Song for the Quilt"http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_ ... tream=1And this one is minimally embellished:http://www.taximusic.com/song.php?song_id=2317&stream=1

Ted, this is such great news!! Let them fight over you!! Fight fight fight!!! LOL!!! Uhh... well, I guess they can't really fight over that signed song, but how great will it sound when the second company contacts you and you have to tell them it already got picked up?!! You'll just have to make them ANOTHER one!! I remember someone from TAXI telling the story about when he got a first-time call from a company that wanted to use a track that was already signed away exclusively elsewhere-- he told them he could make them another such track, and went and did it. And he got the deal. I'm expecting nothing less in your case, Ted!!! Rock on!! Put that 4-track to good use!!! Raags

Looking forward to it.Speaking of that 4-track...I probably ought to start a new thread with this, but...I guess I shouldn't be surprised, but in order to REALLY utilize that 4-track to the best of my ability, I'm going to have to buy a new keyboard/controller and new cables. CRAP! Otherwise, it's just guitars and vocals (on the built-in mic) that will be available to me, unless I'm willing to record my current keyboard via the built-in mic. (My current MIDI keyboard is so old, it won't connect to the 4-track!!)PLUS, I'm going to have to totally tear down and rebuild my living room in order to move it around in order to be able to hook it up to my stereo speakers. Yikes. I may NOT get that first song recorded before the 15th, like I promised myself (and committed to in the "Being Deliberate" thread). No matter. I will get to know this piece of equipment, and know it well. So help me.And thanks again for the support. PROMISE to keep you/everybody updated.Ted

Hey Ted,You're always welcome for the support. I totally understand the troubles with updating things... Pooh! Nonetheless, keep moving forward, even with the road blocks, as you'll be on your way soon. But drat, I do hate those road blocks, those realizations that all your equipment isn't compatible. That can really suck. I totally understand delays, as I just spent the past several weeks working on my home office area, and now my off-site (non-music) location is being renovated and presently in dry wall dust and upheaval. I've been contemplating an extra day in the office, which would mean less music days, and it's hitting me a little hard. So drat those road blocks! And in the meantime, we'll all be waiting to hear that first song you write with your 4-track... Raags

Wow. Uhm, forgive me for saying so, but PURELY from a shallow, male, "face-value" perspective...wow. Welcome to the boards. And thanks, for real, for the kind words. Hopefully, there will be more pieces like that in my future.Ted
