At the opening verse I was thinking... wow man .. change the key up to your register, but .... then when it changed up in the range of your voice.... I say to myself.... mmmm good range... nice change up ... I like it.... The melody is simple but I think effective. The only "concern" (if it is one)...would be whether it is current sounding enough for the Taxi ears.... I only mention that because the dual range of vocals made me think of Simon & Garfunkel... but there are plenty of other contemporary duos that have a similar approach.. I liked the playing... the recording was decent, vocals well done and on pitch... good feel... and I especially liked the buildup and then release to quiet again at the end... well done.. I could see it as good background music to a tv movie scene. The only other consideration that I think I mentioned in listening to another one of your songs is to get someone to play a soft acoustic guitar to support the background and the groove... I was always partial to steel string acoustic playing double-stops and triads on the hi four strings.....

I like it. It has a kind of anthem feel to it. I could easily imagine it with a school choir kind of treatment, a la 'we don't need no education'. I've always considered bagpipes a form of tortue rather than a musical instrument, but I could easily imagine some on this song.Great potential, I'd say.
