Need some help!

Post by billg » Wed Feb 07, 2007 10:57 am

I tried to take Michael's advice on the "spend a couple of hours & create something" advice. Creating everything with just guitar and bass presents a challenge and although I knocked out three tracks in several hours over the last two days I have no idea what genre they would fall into (or if they're of any use at all!). I'm including a link to the two that have been activated on Broadjam, I'm waaay outside of my usual "box" so please take a listen & let me know if I'm on the right track (or right train!).Here's the link, thanks - billghttp://www.broadjam.com/transmit/transmi....0066&yhgbndsq=2

hey bill,I just listened and found the second one "game..." not bad. however I would suggest to put some more dynamic in the tracks - that keeps them interesting in the ear of the listener.

BillYou're on the right train but maybe the wrong carriage. Hooks are too simple, ordinary and repetitive. Sorry, just being honest. My stuff's at www.liamkellylive.com . You can slam it any time you want. I'll man up - not going to hide behind a computer.Liam
