No way! Yeah, you did. Now I have to go listen again. The way the vibrato tails off at the end of notes is great. And the little out of tune spots... yeah, what did you use? Ok, I heard the switch on the very last note... but dang, that really sounds good.

Yeah it's the Garritan Gofriller Cello. It is really cool cause they have a new technology which allows them to crossfade between samples of different dynamic levels (via expression) without you hearing two samples playing, since all the samples are perfectly phase aligned. So it just sounds like there's more and more bow force. You also have complete and seamless control over the depth (mod wheel) and speed (aftertouch) of the vibrato. And you control the attack strength via velocity, and if you play legato the velocity controls the note transition from normal legato to a slide.Among other things. It is really very cool and I highly recommend it. You can actually play and shape a phrase much like an actual player would. They make a Stradivari Violin as well, and I think a Viola is in the works...

I don't want to hijack the thread, but Matto, is the Garritan Cello a plug-in that works inside a DAW like Logic or Cubase? Like an effect you apply to a track made up of loops or midi info? BTW, nice work on your tracks, and I thought the cello sounded great.

Matto! Remember The Fallen: Excellent chord progressions. Flows very nicely. As one of my former co-workers would say: Beauutiifull!A Cry For Help: That is SWEEET! The cello playing is great. I'd think that was a real player if you didn't say otherwise. Like the use of reverb. Sits just right. I can see why you're so successful at this. Congrats on the forwards. Well deserved!ibanez468
