Hey CaseyI appreciate the kind words about the song , and I'll certainly pass on the vocal compliment to Sabrina .... who's just a doll to work with.It seems most critiques on the internet seem to find some level of quality in the song , but it got trashed big time by a NSAI evaluator who absolutely hated it .Don

They are stuck on the "Nashville Standard"- what it would take to get a major Nashville artist to record it... Well, the odds of that are so ridiculously small anyway that I always recommend non-performing writers to focus more on film/TV.I've had songs trashed by them offered publishing contracts.... Hey CaseyAs a Canadian writer who is primarily focused on the Canadian Indie market and the Canadian film/TV libraries , I amuse myself with NSAI evaluations .NSAI evaluations used to be more neutral and useful , in terms of offering solid mechanical suggestions in genres other than "Nashville sounds" , but of late it's going (as you say) blind to the awareness of any other music world existing outside of theirs .In response to their comments on this one , I submitted a simple country song (posted here today "Way Beyond Like") ..... and got trashed big time on it as well ....... which lets me know I'm at least consistent in their eyes .Got sound on ya now ... so I'll have a listen to your music today and get back to ya ... thkx .Don
