Hi guys, Please have a listen to 'You Confuse Me' on www.dirtyprincess.co.uk and let me know if you enjoyed listening..... The song was co-written by myself and DP. I am doing the vocals. Thank you in advance! Just like to get people's opinions. E

Hey Dimps...I must say I was really impressed with your track... Your vocals are absolutely stellar in performance, melody and timing... It is definitely something I could hear playing on a pop radio station... The production is very nice as well, although in the bigger realm I could hear room for some longer transitions to help highlight your voice...Keep up the good work...Davehttp://www.soundclick.com/bands/pageartist.cfm?bandid=189280

Fantastic vocals. I liked all the layers of harmonies adding depth to the track. My one gripe is that the drums are a bit static. They could do with a bit of variation near the end to highlight the transition from verse to Chorus. When the verse kicks in I can hear a huge crash cymbal (or similar sound) to highlight the change. Also the drums could drop out just before the chorus kicks in to highlight this change. On a personal note I can hear room for some timpany during the chorus (You can probably guess I like timpany )....but that's a personal taste.Don't touch the vocals though...they're great.

Hey Erin ! I'm very impressed ! Wonderful song. Very modern songwriting. Ballad at it's best ! The hook is super ! Starting with it on a piano was a great idea .The melody is excellent . Simple, beautiful and catchy .Especially I like the "answers" to the main melody. They make a nice charm to the melody - something like a shadow effect which makes the whole picture more impressive.Bridge is very good and the last line of it is just amazing ! Very expressive and so good for singing !Chorus is a hit - kinda Grammy winner melody for sure ! Catchy catchy hook as a baseline. Super !Your voice here has so perfect and pleasant sounding .I do like it !Second bridge ( before last 2 choruses ) is excellent ! Very good placed, and emotionally is a culmination of the song . Perfect songwriter's job !Lyrics is very good and pretty easy for understanding ! Great !Excellent song - a dream of any major label !Serge

Hi Dimps,With all the layers and textures going on, a strong vocal delivery is necessary and you deliver. Good work. In the right market there would be plenty of demo work for you -- Nashville comes to mind. I would like to hear your beautiful vocal timbre ensconced in mandolins, fiddles and acoustic guitars!best,bc

Wow thanks Serge and BC. Very encouraging comments. Much appreciated! Serge, you know I'm a fan of your music! BC, I'd love to do Nashville. It's a dream of mine to visit there and maybe sing there too. Who knows....maybe one day. Thanks for your kind words.
