my first rejection!

Post by davem » Tue Nov 10, 2009 2:03 pm

I am a taxi newbie - and just got my first rejection! So, I am on my way, right?!?!?I did want to comment on reviewer #174, who provided excellent, constructive feedback. I guess that I, like apparently many others, will struggle with the "targeting" aspect here. Because that was the reason for no forward - "wrong for the listing, but nicely done."Only 999 rejections to go!

Same here...First rejection in the bag, now only 999 more to go, waiting on like 8 or 9 at the moment.Sadly, I only had a yes/no on the listing so I don't know why it was rejected. I think it was cause I submitted an instrumental prog/metal piece for an alt-rock listing...BUT it was for Japan, so I figured they might dig the polyrhythms etc.The track was actually featured on a compilation CD here (for free, promo only) SO, I do know it's pro quality...you can hear it on my taxi profile page...if I could just figure out what the URL is... maybe in my user profile? anyway, track was called "Polymorphizing" if anyone is interested to help me figure out where to place it.anyway, keep trying! Keep the dream alive! we CAN and will get there eventually!

Well guys rejection is good because it tells you of what you need to improve on. I have been doing music all my life for major artist and my first submit was a return and the reason why I picked the wrong song it wasn't that the son was not good but it didn't win that reviewer over. But all of my submission had been for wards. Keep your head up and keep it coming there is someone out there that wants to hear you!JPI Rock With One NameBe Blessed!
