I realise this is an older thread, and I've only just gotten to it...but I'm astonished that these songs are not considered 'broadcast quality'. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the vocals, I think they're great (my taste) and they're very broadcast-able (irrespective of my taste). Hmmmm, that has to be frustrating. I'm definitely going to ignore the Y/N listings for a while, unless I'm 100% certain I have something on the money. For these songs, I have to say, I think they copped out, because no one was obliged to give a full critique.

Thanks for all the feedback. Now that I've had time to sit back and get away from the songs I feel even worse about them being returned!!! Just kidding Actually, I understand why the screener returned them. I don't think he/she was right about the vocals not being broadcast quality as the autotune was used for effect but I agree with Erich that the bass was a bit loose in spots on the 2nd track so I can see why #95 checked the return box. He/she has been very fair in several of my other forwards/returns so I know it's not like he/she was out to get me or anything. I've actually re-mixed the 2nd track, tightened up the bass, added a new section, and did some major drum tweaking... oh yeah, Logan added some vocals to it too But we're still re-writing it so I'm not gonna post it online just yet. But once I'm done, I'll upload it. I don't think it will get returned for not being Broadcast Quality the next time And the album is still in the works. Might have to be an EP for this first one. L-Train and I still have to figure out how which songs we're going to do, but the plan is still to have something done by the Rally. - Big Blue
