Maybe I'm exaggerating. But, it seems, to get something new out there, you really have to put together some garbage. I have my radio tuned to two stations any more.Granted, I'm no pro. But, I certainly think your song deserves more radio play/recording than most of the stuff that does get through. Try stringing together 50-60 four letter words, insult some folks and degrade women. You'll make millions!!!

I apologize for assuming taxi would automatically read this thread. Once this pattern of similar reviews was emerging, I should have called taxi and not posted how I was sure it was being read. I wimped out because I didn't have the energy to feel like I was complaining. Hindsight is great--- shoulda done it. I take responsibility for that. That doesn't mean I feel differently about THESE critiques for THIS listing. Wrong is wrong. But it is being addressed- the screener has been let go and ML said he'd come back and discuss it more. We can discuss all day whether this problem could have been dealt with earlier. The past is the past.... moving forward is best. Let's see what develops. Casey

casey,When I read your thread I had just sent an e-mail to the headscreener asking for someone to decipher the critique I received... very similar to the one you got . I dropped another e-mail to give TAXI a heads up regarding your thread...I'm sure I wasn't the only one.... Listened to your track and really liked it. I think it should get a forward just like I think mine should too.In any evfent this type of situation makes it tough on all us that submit tracks and, while it may seem like we are complaining or making a big deal out of nothing, TAXI needs to know and I am confident they want to know.Keep up the good work and good luck!!

Bill... U truly brighten up the forums man!U know Ur comments:Quote:It's not festering any longer. It's come to a head and burst open up in general comments. Mark Canty evidently had an emmerdale but like some others (me included) lacked a musical hook, and poor ethan lacked multiple hooks. And now kel has taken all of the available emmerdales and hooks and put them into his one song. So the rest of us are just screwed. When I read that I honestly laughed til I teared!!!Ur a Legend! It's really Awesome having U around.-Kel

You guys are killin' me with emmerdales. I think it's on it's way to becoming the next "google" . You know, when you google this or google that... "Nice tune but i think it needs some emmerdaling..." "Dude, you gotta emmerdale that chorus..." eo.

Has a nice ring to it....or is it a hook?
