Another broadcast quality question...

Post by eokamura » Sat Apr 18, 2009 6:03 am

HowdyI have the same question as Southpaw in a previous thread. I sent these tunes in not being confident that they would ba match stylistically but I didn't expect to get returned for broadcast quality issues. Maybe,as has been said, they check the wrong box or they're returned for other reasons but if that's the case what are we supposed to think? What do we learn from a return if we're not confident about the reason for that return? I'd rather just have a "no" than a reason I'm not sure is accurate.Anyway, if you get a sec let me know if you think these are these are broadcast quality. Thanks all. eoY090324ARALT ROCK SONGS [no instrumentals] with great hooks and vocals in the wide range of Muse, Coldplay, Incubus, etc. are sought by a well-established Music Supervisor for a TV Pilot that she is working on. She has placed TAXI member's songs on major network television shows in the past and is always on the lookout for great material. Broadcast quality needed [excellent home recordings are OK]. Please submit one to three songs online or per CD, include lyrics. All submissions will be screened on a YES/NO BASIS - NO CRITIQUES FROM TAXI - and must be received no later than Tuesday, March 24, 2009. TAXI #Y090324AR(meant to do that in the first place, thanks Bird).www.taxi.com/eosongs are Quicksand and Cross Wired Brain

Ethan, I listened to all of your songs a while back and I'm just blown away by them. Both of these songs sound very good to me, but Cross Wired Brain sounds crazy good. I mean it really sounds as good as it gets imo, and I love the song.
