Re: My issue with the the listing/review process.
Just wanted to add something that was said at the Road Rally (I think by Robin) - when looking at the a la's, don't go listen to their obscure tracks. Go to iTunes, call them up, and listen to the tracks with the highest popularity rating that fit the other aspects of the listing (like slowdance mentions).

12/29/08 One of the things that was said at the Road Rally that made a lot of sense to me is, when reading listings with one or more artists named as a las... do not listen to their most obscure stuff... but go to iTunes, look them up, and see the song or songs that have the most popularity rating... these are likely the songs that the listing party & screeners are going to thinking of when reviewing your submission. 01/16/08 Just wanted to add something that was said at the Road Rally (I think by Robin) - when looking at the a la's, don't go listen to their obscure tracks. Sorry for repeating the same good advice twice in the same thread...

I would have missed this if it had not gotten posted here again. I usually use YouTube (which Louis already mentioned, so no need to mention that he mentioned it already ). I like to hear good ideas again, especially if I didn't catch them at the Rally! Raags
